Halo halo books exhibit at filipino fiesta

Halo halo's first group exhibit at Arts in the City, for Filipino Fiesta. Exhibit will run from Aug 4-28.

We went there early to do the setup, we doodled around our artworks and it was so much fun.
Now I want a glass wall and markers at our house! :) It was also my first time to meet these awesome artists for halo halo books, so we are kind of shy at first.

Work At Home

I’m working from home today since all the streets are flooded. It has been raining non-stop! Thankfully we have electricity today, so I’m able to work and paint yay! Yesterday was a different story, we don’t have electricity and cellphone signal, so we are all in the living room playing on the tablet & itouch until the bat ran out (approx.1hr) and then we read books, chatted, until it was time to eat. we are like this for 12 hours! Hopefully the rain will stop, looking forward for sunny days!

Haven't blogged for a month! (no i didn't die!!! ) :( I went to Japan last July (I know it's not an excuse not to blog! but I was able to cross out a few notes on my bucket list! yay) and i bought this muji sketchbook to start sketching again. Most of my current projects are digital and i can't share it with you yet. :( so I'm sharing with you this quick loose maneki neko drawing (i miss japan already!). I did this not only because i haven't blogged for a while, but also to take off the stress from my digital work. I just want to do something well.. that's not work! :)

I plan to do a series of sketches of Japan. So stay tuned for that!
