Share your time & talent on advocacies

2 years ago I wanted to help my fellow artists about financial literacy. But I don't know how. Luckily I stumble upon Angat Pilipinas Coalition for Financial Literacy and I volunteered my design skills to help promote it. Doing something to help other people is awesome! :)

Just want to share Burn's article on:

The Power of Images in Advocacies

Two years before, our event posters suck. Our advocacy group’s logo sucked. We could not create credible promotional materials because we were only relying on templates available on MS Powerpoint and Publisher. We sucked big time. Read the rest of the story here>

If you want to share your talents and help, go volunteer! :)

Arteng Pinay Financial Workshop 2

Did my second talk for Angat Pilipinas Coalition for Financial Literacy.
Here are some slides that I made. :) Speakers are: Rhea Moccoro talked about personal finance. (Kuripot Pinay). Krissy Domingo talked about mutual funds. (Money Life Blood). Guest Speaker Marvin Germo. :) I am an advocate of financial literacy for artists and musicians because I believe that no artist should starve.

And here we are after the talk with the speakers and participants!

Personal Finance Management for Artists & Musicians

Created a poster for our personal finance management talk. :) I challenged myself to do illustrations using basic shapes and this is what came out. It was fun designing this poster I hope the people who attended the talk learned something. :)

My 5 minute talk was about my journey on how I started investing in the stock market. :) Below are some slides in my presentation.

And here is our group photo! :)
